It was incredible to have our entire school community – Parish, parents, staff and pupils – together for Mass in our school hall.
Father Gabriel led us in a Mass in which we were reminded that we have never seen God, yet we have seen images of Jesus, so Jesus is the visible representation of God.
Today was the first time that we used our new altar! It is a stunning piece of furniture which was made and donated to the school by Mr Cassidy, one of our parents.

During the Mass, Father blessed the Chaplaincy Team badges and presented them to our new chaplains: Matilda, Noah, Hanna, Maria, Joshua and Abbie. They will help to enhance the Catholic Life of the school by offering additional opportunities for private and group prayer, by undertaking projects and by supporting with Collective Worship.

Our Year 5 children read the First Reading and the bidding prayers. They did a fantastic job!

It was wonderful to see so many of our parents and grandparents joining us in worship and prayer – we have missed having them in school and we look forward to welcoming them back in again soon.
