Mark 6: 1 – 6 “This is the carpenter, surely? And they would not accept Him.”
In this week’s Gospel, we were reminded that Jesus knew what it was like to be rejected; however, Jesus never failed to welcome everyone.
Our mission this week: Inspired by the keyworkers who have supported others during the pandemic, we are going to think about how we can be more like Jesus by welcoming others. We are also going to remember that we each have a special part to play in our communities, just like in the Body of Christ. To demonstrate this we are being asked to donate an item to our local foodbank.
