Children from Year 2 – Holy Cross have this week lived out our mission to ‘inspire’ by being positive role models at home and at school.
Here are some explanations of the ways in-which they lived out our mission.
Scarlet – ” I have tried to help children who need it. This made me feel really happy. I hope I have inspired them to help others.”
Julia – ” I always try to be a good role -model . I work hard and I’m always ready to listen and to learn. I try to inspire others to do the same.
My sister has inspired me to say sorry. Niamh
Someone in my church can play the piano and that is amazing. I am going to learn to play the piano. Ademola
My sister is good at writing. I want to be as good as her so I am practising. Aisling
Here in year 5 at St John Fisher we tried to live out the mission ‘Inspire’.
Here are our examples of how we lived this out:
Helen Jane was inspired by a birthday party she attended, which was really well organised and put together, so everyone had a nice time.
Brooke, Molly, Caitlin, Amelie, Janelle all played football for the girls school football team, putting in a solid performance of great teamwork and skills. Hopefully inspiring others to take part and give it a go.
Zarah said she was inspired by her sister, who kindly helped her with her maths work on percentages and has made her want to be better at maths.
