Year 4 led this weeks liturgy – Journeyeveryone went on a journey
Our mission this week is to spend some time in silence to think about your journey through Lent so far. Let me know when you found the time to do this.
On Monday lunchtime, I went to the prayer corner and said a prayer and I thought about how far I have come through Lent – Amelie
Yesterday, I went to a collective worship at lunchtime led by a visitor and she read out the story of Lazarus and reminded us about seeing the bigger picture and then we spent some time in prayer – Anais
Yesterday, I went to confession and before that, I had some time to think about the mistakes that I have made so far in my journey through Lent so that I could ask for forgiveness – Caitlin
When I was on the bus on the way home from the Sports Hall Athletics competition, I took some time out to think about my journey through Lent – Joel
For Lent, during my journey, I promised myself that I would do something extra (be kind and caring to others) so I made sure that I stuck to this through Lent and remembered to continue with it – Molly
During Lent, I have been trying to pray more often and I have visited the prayer corner frequently – Janelle
Alex/Emily E/Lilah/Eireanna/Yaqoob- we went to meditation today.
Lilah – on the way home in the car, I was thinking about my promise and how far into it i was. I kept trying not to tempt myself to break my Lenten promise when I got home.
Seth – through Lent, I have been thinking about my journey and trying not to do anything bad.
Each new day is a part of my journey through life which I appreciate. Sadie – Year 5
Through the journey of Lent so far there have been days it has been hard to keep my Lenten promises. Every time this happens, I try to think of all the positive influences I have made when I spend more time to listening to others, helping others along their journey. Raj -Year 5
This week I have quietly reflected on my journey through school so far. Evie – Year 5.
