Reception class learned about the kingdom of heaven and kingdom on Earth this week. We feel happy and blessed (Orla) and understand that Jesus helps us to be nice to people (Diane)
This week, we have spoken a lot about Kingdom because it is directly linked with our most recent RSE topic.

I saw a year 2 child helping a Reception child on the playground who was crying – Annemarie.
I have shared kingdom this week by playing with new children and playing new activities that I would not normally play but I wanted to include others – Amelia
I realised that kingdom is everywhere and everyone is part of God’s kingdom – Josh
Year 2 thought about different ways they has seen people trying to make our kingdom a better place by showing love. Layla was feeling left out at playtime and when Ronnie saw her looking upset he immediately invited her to join in with the game he was playing. This made Layla feel lived. Melissa let Anita play a game with her when Anita doesn’t normally play with Melissa. During our Meditation Riley accidentally knocked something onto the floor. He showed consideration towards the rest of his class who were focussed on their meditation by not fussing and picking it up until our meditation had finished.
