In this weeks Liturgy we asked each child to hold a pebble and think how they could be disciples of Jesus by following Jesus’ good ways. They then placed the pebble at the foot of the cross to remind us that we are one of Jesus’ disciples. Our mission this week is to be a good disciple of Jesus by helping others and being kind and respectful to everyone. Let me know how you get on with this.

This week our theme was discipleship and we were given the mission to be a good disciple of Jesus by helping others and being kind and respectful to everyone.
Celia – “I have been kind to others by playing football with the boys and trying to make the games a bit jollier”
Seth – “Isabelle has been a good disciple by showing kindness to me through asking me to play with her at breaks and lunch when I am upset.”
Emily – “Elise has been a good disciple by checking on me and making sure that I am okay.”
Munya – ” Celia has been a great disciple by encouraging us if we make mistakes.”
This week, Year 1 have reflected on how they are disciples of Jesus by sharing stories during worship of times when they have been kind and respectful to others.
Ryan – “I have looked after my brother when he was sad and played lots of games with him”
Darcie – “I helped my younger cousin by cutting up his food so he could eat it”
Aliona – “I helped my mummy tidy the house and my bedroom”
