On Wednesday 23rd October a small group of year 10 Mission team members went to St Mary’s primary school in Loughborough. We were all allocated to a year group and spent the afternoon helping out around the classrooms.
We then spent some time working with the year 1’s and year 6’s on their liturgy preparation. We all felt warmly welcomed and had an amazing time helping the the young people, especially as we have already been through this part of school life ourselves.
We all came back to school really happy that we got to spend some time at St Mary’s; it was a truly excellent afternoon.
