On Friday 1st October Christ the King celebrated the Feast of All Saints. Fr Anthony celebrated mass for us and commissioned us as Chaplains. He blessed our chaplaincy badges as he told all of the children and visitors all about the work we have already been doing.
Father Anthony helped us to reflect on the mission and aspiration to become Saints ourselves and we prayed for our 4 saints, which represent our House Groups – St John Bosco, St Bernadette, St Francis and St Anne. We also reflected on Pope Francis who has often spoken about being a Saint.
Our favourite song was This little light of mine. Mrs Carter loved our singing and told us to try and let our lights shine this half term as we try to encounter Christ and become more Saintly in everything we do.
