This week we listened to how Jesus welcomed Andrew to come to his home. We listened as we heard about them eating and talking. We learnt that Jesus wants us to be his friend, able to talk to him; share our fears, hopes and worries. We know the importance of friendship in our lives and the joy we get from talking to our friends. This week our challenge is to talk to Jesus every day for 5 minutes. We can do this through the prayers we already know or by just talking to him in the quiet of the day.

In my prayers to God this week I have prayed for two special people and their family. Keep them in your prayers too.

Today we pray for two of our great friends; Charlie and Willow. We pray that they will be happy in their new home and their new school. We thank God for having them in our lives and for the joy they have brought to us. We know God will look after them. Thank you God for our special Friends.
