“I talked to God at bedtime, when I’m in the car and when I’m playing with my dolls.” “It’s hard to believe in God because you can’t see. I prayed to God for my baby (brother) and it happened (he got better) so I know Jesus is there.”

I spoke to God when I was playing football to ask him to help me to play well and to give me energy to perform. I I know God was there and he listened to me because I had a good game.
I pray to God when I need help and feel troubled by things, I ask God to help me with my faith as it is hard to see and feel God, but know he is there.
I asked God to help me with my gymnastics as I didn’t have faith and believe in myself. This gave me the confidence to perform a back handspring and double splits.
I had to complete a scary task this week but because I was fine I know that God listened and was with me – Year 5

Makafui found time to talk to God when she went to bed and when she woke up in the morning.
As a class, we gave thanks to God before we ate our lunch.
Hamish said thanks to God at home before he ate his dinner.
Evie found time in the car to speak to God.
Before William picked up his brother, he said a prayer outside of the Year 4 classroom, whilst he was waiting.
As a class, before we go home, we always say thanks to God for giving us a good day and giving us the strength to achieve things.
