Excellent Earth Day

Last Thursday, everyone at Christ the King celebrated Earth Day with a lovely liturgy led by our year 1 and 2 chaplaincy team. They taught all about caring for our Earth and shared some brilliant prayers.

Each class chose how they could live out their mission. We all had to care for the world. Miss Bolam’s class said that they would recycle or upcycle something so that there was not so much waste.

We thought the liturgy was brilliant. Well done to Mrs Darby and the Infant chaplaincy team for your spiritual guidance and reflective liturgy.

It made 2KH/FS think about looking after the world better and taking care of the things God created.

It reminded 6KT that God gave us this beautiful world, giving us a closer connection to nature. Our mission is to plant some flowers on the junior site to brighten up God’s creation.
