Preparing for Pentecost

This morning, our wonderful Year 3 and 4 chaplains led a liturgy all about Pentecost, which we celebrate this Sunday. We were joined by Miss Young’s class who helped the children watching in their classes by acting out the story of Pentecost.

We also spoke in different languages to make people smile, just like the disciples did when they were given the gift to spread the Good News.

The mission this week was to show that the Holy Spirit lives in you by spreading the Good News.

Comment below about what the liturgy made you think about and how you are going to act as a result of this.

The liturgy made us think about how the disciples were good examples on how to spread the Good News. We reflected on how we can also be good examples. Dhana said she would say a prayer so that she could be closer to God. Victoria said she would help her mum around the house because that is what Jesus would want her to do. Sophie is putting up posters around her local area to arrange a community litter picking event with her mum.
