Mark 6: 1 – 6 “This is the carpenter, surely? And they would not accept Him.”
In this week’s Gospel passage, we hear that Jesus knew what it was like to be rejected; however, Jesus never failed to welcome everyone. Inspired by previously overlooked keyworkers during the pandemic, including an interview with a paramedic, children were encouraged to be more like Jesus by welcoming others.
To those who feel forgotten – We remember them.
To those who don’t feel they have much to offer – We encourage them.
To those working hard to look after us – We thank them.
To those feeling ignored and unappreciated – We welcome them
To be welcoming to others.
To show people they are appreciated.
