On Wednesday, our wonderful chaplaincy team led a wonderful liturgy all about the rosary. Tom Shannon, our CMAT lay chaplain, visited us to show us the new Let Us Pray 2gether and helped us to plan the liturgy.

We heard the scripture of the Annunciation and this taught us that Mary put her trust in God during times of trouble. Just like Mary, we can use the rosary to pray to Mary during times of trouble.
Our favourite part of the liturgy was the beginning when we came into the hall and sat in the shape of rosary beads. Near our focal point was a cave to represent the grotto in which Mary appeared in Lourdes.

Please comment below on how it made you feel and how you are going to live out the mission.

We will make sure that we are saying the ‘Hail Mary’ prayer in class. This will help us to grow closer to Mary.
When we were saying the Hail Mary, I felt calm. (Delaney)
I felt happy because the liturgy was peaceful and I really enjoyed the piece of scripture that was read out. (Jacob)
