On Monday we came together for our CTK Weekly Word assemblies with Mrs Marshall and Mrs Glassford, where we learned all about what the word ‘Holiness’ means.

Our mission this week was to think of our favourite saint and draw and write something about them.

Please could you comment below on the following questions …

  1. What the assembly made you think about
  2. How the assembly made you feel
  3. What you might do as a result of understanding the word Holiness

Thomas: The assembly made me feel calm and closer to Jesus. It made me reflect on how we are all called to be saints by Pope Francis and how sometimes things get in the way of us being Holy.
Filip: I am going to use the Catholic Virtue of temperance so that we are not tempted to spend as much time watching TV/playing games and spend more time with my family and with Jesus.

I remember the word holiness and that we can look to the saints to learn how to be holy.
