Fortitude ( also knows as ‘courage’) is something we will all need to find our lives. You may need the courage to face an exam or test, or maybe you’ll need the courage to say sorry and seek forgiveness. The Holy Spirit can give us courage when we need it the most, so think about the times and places where you need courage at the moment and ask God to help you find that courage and move forward.

Mission – As we come to the end of the school year what might you need fortitude to face?  What is going to be your biggest challenge?

In Y6B there was one hot topic of conversation this week: transitioning to secondary school. The children identified some of the challenges they will need courage to face – these included making new friends, getting organised and moving around the school campus, taking different modes of transport to get to their new school and having lots of new teachers. We talked about how they won’t face any of these challenges alone: God will walk with them.
