Year 4 led our liturgy this week. During the liturgy every child had time to write down anything they wanted to tell Jesus. We then asked them to take it home and look at it before bedtime.

Our mission is to take time to talk to God this week. Did you manage to do this?

This week, we have randomised our seating arrangement in the afternoons to ensure that children are having dialogue with someone different and spending time with others in the classroom. We have discussed the importance of dialogue, and speaking to someone different to make them feel welcome or special.

    Children’s voices –

‘I have sat next to different friends and talked to new friends’ – Toby.
‘I spoke to a new person outside on the field’ – Amaya.

This week year 6 have been visiting different schools and used our theme of dialogue to help them.
Demi: when I visited St Paul’s this week I went with Jamie and discussed what we had seen in a science experiment. We both realised that we had noticed different things and how nice it was to talk about this.
We talked in class about how important it is to not just hear our friends but really listen to what they are saying.
Josh: I used dialogue when I went with Piper to another school and spoke to new people.
