This week Reception children learned about hope. We have learned about Advent, that the colour is purple which means waiting. We hope that we can be nice to each other like Jesus wants us to be even though we are very tired and lots of us are ill! 🙂

Our mission this week was to have hope in God whenever we need help or are struggling.
How have we lived this out?
Celia – asking for help when I have been stuck and having faith that God will help me when I’m stuck
Seth – Yaqoob and Isabelle have given me hope by asking me to play when I have been upset
Eloise – When I was upset Elise gave me hope by making me happy, which helped make us both happy
Buyi – God gave me hope when we were doing our tests, helped me when I was struggling with some of the questions
Sofia and Ronnie said that they were feeling nervous before performing our Nativity play to parents. They said that they put their hope in God that He would help them overcome their nerves and perform to their best. A few of the class felt that they did the same.
