The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. The Eucharist is a powerful way in which we receive Jesus Christ into our hearts and are united with him as one body. The Eucharist is a source of strength and nourishment, and as we receive it, just as the disciples did at the Last Supper, we are reminded of God’s love for us and of our call to love others. Share a meal with the people you love this week.
Our Mission
This week share a meal with the people you love. In your mission circles talk about your favourite meal to share with your family.

The children in Y6 had a lot of fun sharing their favourite meals with the group. A common theme for favourite meals was that it was a time when family members come together to eat. Some children also get involved in the preparations for these occasions. Several children talked about enjoying food is a part of their culture – for example, dishes from Zimbabwe, Poland or the Caribbean. A roast dinner was also much loved and formed part of family tradition.
