Before the summer holiday, we invited our children, staff and families to share their ideas as part of our consultation on our school Mission Statement. Thank you to everyone who contributed their thoughts and reflections.

As part of the process, we asked our children and staff what our school motto, “Believe and Achieve,” means to them. Using all of the ideas gathered, we created a new CTK acronym that reflects how we live out our mission to Believe and Achieve for Christ Our King.

This week, during our welcome celebrations, we introduced our revised Mission Statement:

For Christ the King, we Believe and Achieve by…

C – Caring for Each Other

T – Trying Our Best

K – Knowing and Loving God

We are guided by the new commandment given to us by Jesus: “Love one another as I have loved you.” John 13:34

In class, this week and next, the children will be exploring the Mission more closely and how we live this out in our lives.
