This year at CTK the harvest has been amazing! Due to the pandemic, people have learnt to not take advantage of the things they love and this year’s harvest was a way to show it. After going around collecting donations, we realised how generous students and families at CTK are, and we are SO proud to be giving away so much food to the less fortunate. We have been supporting Braunstone Food Share, a local food bank in our community for many years now.
Even thought the last few months have been tough on all of us, it’s amazing to know that the students here are always willing o help those in need. We may not think so but by giving in just one donation, we could make someone so much more happy.
To end our harvest donation, the Chaplaincy teams on both sites came together to celebrate through a liturgy. All of the classes watched from their classrooms and loved it!
