At Saint Martin’s we launched the Bronze Award with a group of Year 8 and Year 9 students so we can celebrate the faith journey of our young people. Students are required to demonstrate commitment to service within the school and the wider community, to work for the Good News and the common good. Students keep a journal and to complete the Award, they present a piece of work, in a medium of their choice, to represent their personal faith in action journey. The students have received their badges today and they are over the moon.
Finally, I can wear my badge with pride. I really enjoyed being part of the FIA group, it allowed me to make new friends, deepen my faith and be part of a group where I was able to make a difference in school and my community. Ross- Y9
