We have all completed our Level 1 Sign Language Course!!
We are TheSignLanguageGirls! And we want YOU to join on our mission to give a voice to those with no voice, spread equality in the world, to enable EVERYONE to be able to express their thoughts and feelings through sign and to make sign a core subject across our country!
We believe is a vital role to play in the Catholic Life in our schools. Sign is important in catholic life because worship is for EVERYONE! We should all be able to worship God through words and music. As a Christian community, it is our duty to give a voice to those who have no voice!
We also believe that it is important because we would be able to bring more people into mainstream schools to experience the same social opportunities that we do, as sometimes people you want to be friends with aren’t able to communicate as they don’t know sign language so it would open a whole new world for some people as they would be able to communicate with whoever they wanted and not have to stick with people that understand them .So that is why we think it would be beneficial in your school.
