Last week as our theme was ‘Mercy’ year 5 spent time discussing how we show mercy to one another at school and at home and how we could possibly do more of this. Janelle said she showed mercy to someone at home when they did something that upset her, she said she explained it was not very kind and upset her, but that she understood and forgave them.
Helen Jane showed mercy when someone accidentally spilled something over her work and she forgave them.
Amelie showed mercy when her homework got accidentally deleted. All said that after they had shown mercy they felt better rather than continuing to be upset or angry towards the person.
