Year 4 Chaplaincy running through this mornings liturgy. In the last evaluation the children had asked if we could sit around the focus table in a big circle.
Our mission this week is to show love to one another by sharing a smile or helping someone who is sad. Let me know how you did this.

This week we encouraged children to share a smile or help others who are in need. Children have been using prayer beads in the classroom to engage in spontaneous prayer.
Josiah – “If someone fell down, I helped them up on the playground”
Arlo U – “I took my friend to the teacher when she was hurt.
Ivy – “When my friend was sad I gave her a hug and took her to the teacher”
Josh – We have been showing holiness by taking part in the Rosary at lunchtimes and giving up our time to help others.
When I was in the library Lotanna smiled at me when I was sad, this made me feel better.
Demi – Lotanna, I have been Holy this week by praying to God and saying the Rosary.
Kiedis – at sportshall competition this week, we as a team showed Holiness by shaking the hands of the other teams and saying well done. This showed that we are happy for others as well as ourselves.
Lotanna, Demi showed Holiness by helping others on the playground.
This week we have learned the word “holiness” and that this is something that Jesus was. We learned the story of Zacchaeus, who was not holy, then he met Jesus and became holy. We have thought about how we can try and be holy.
Bonnie – When I was sad, Saxon shared a smile and said I could play with him.
Lots of Year 4 children have shared smiles with each this week.
William was waiting for and encouraging children during Cross Country training this week and last week.
