Reception enjoy sharing a meal every week when we do our Godly Play. It is a time in class that we love. After we have shared our story and reflected on how it has made us feel or the message we have received from it we share a small offering. We do this as we think about Jesus and the scarifies He made for us.
We look forward to this moment each week.
In Year 6, we have been thinking about the importance of sharing meals together as we remember Jesus.
Monri – before I eat my dinner I pray to God and say thank you for all of the things that I have.
Nimi – yesterday, my family and I had Holy Communion in our church service. This was special because as a church, we always pray over the bread and wine to turn this into Jesus’s body.
Ella – I helped make food with my mum, which is something I don’t usually do, and then we ate it together.
