On Wednesday all of the children and staff at CTK celebrated the beginning of Lent with an Ash Wednesday liturgy. It was a great celebration of our discipleship and we all proudly wore our ashes to show our faith.
On the Infant Site, Fr Anthony joined us to celebrate Ash Wednesday and we thought of all of the different ways to support CAFOD and care for our World. On the Junior Site, the chaplains handed out the Ashes and followed our chaplaincy mission of telling people about the love of God. We loved spreading the Good News!

Visit our reception where you can find our promises for CAFOD for each class. Some of our ideas include designing our own football top for Brazil or holding a CAFOD film club afterschool to watch films with a nature setting.
We’ll also be continuing our Lectio Divina Club this half term led by the Junior chaplains – why not come and visit?
