PEACE – Anti-Bullying Week

Jesus died that we might have peace. His Cross is the source of our peace.

In John 20:19-22 , we are reminded that after Jesus had risen, he went to find his disciples – who had run away from him and let him down – and, He said to them, “Peace be with you.” They were filled with joy, and he breathed on them saying, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit too, that we may be people of peace. He asks us to share His peace with others, and to pray for peace. Last week, we thought about how many people fought and died in the World Wars that we might have peace in our world. May they Rest in Peace of Christ.

Because Jesus gives us peace, we should never be hurtful, or bully, or be cruel or unkind. A peaceful person wants to make others happy.

How are you helping to make your school a peaceful place?
