“Well done, good and faithful servant; you have shown you can be faithful in small things, I will trust you with greater.”  Matthew 25: 14 -30

Through the gospel this week, we were shown that God wants us to experience being loved and wants us to choose to love Him in return. We ended our assembly with a reminder of God’s love for us and we were invited then to reflect on how to love God back.

Our Mission this Week

Love is a gift we have all been given by God.  He wants us to use it well by sharing it, multiplying it and giving it back to Him by loving Him in return.  If we do this, we will be just like the good servants in the film who used their gifts wisely.  How can we show love to others this week?

  1. Year 4 St. Joseph's says:

Year 4 enjoyed the mission this week as it was linked to our RE topic. We spoke all about different ways that we can show love.
    Here are some examples:

“If someone is looking sad you can go over and make them smile or laugh.”
“We could make people feel more included.”
“If people are having a rough time you could help them.”
