This week’s word is ‘mercy’.

We talked about how mercy is showing kindness and compassion to someone who has upset you.

We heard this scripture:

We discussed how Jesus showed mercy to his disciples as even though they had run away when he was being crucified, he said “Peace be with you”. Even when he showed his wounds form being put on the cross, he still repeated “Peace be with you”. He then sent his disciples out to show mercy to others, just as we should show mercy to anyone who hurts or upsets us.

Your mission this week is to show mercy and compassion to others. Let us know in the comments how you achieve this week’s mission.
