This week’s word is ‘journey’.
We talked about different kinds of journeys: walking to school, going to the shops, going on holiday, but also the journey through school and through life.
We heard this scripture:

We talked about the story of the Road to Emmaus and how Jesus walked alongside the disciples – just as he walks alongside us, even though we cannot see him.
We discussed how the disciples felt better after talking through their worries and how Jesus helped them.
Therefore, there are three things we can learn and use in our own lives:
- You are never alone
- Talking to someone helps
- You can help others on their journey
Lent is also a journey. Your mission this week is to meditate at home on your journey through Lent so far. Many of you have a meditation box at home that you made – you could use that – or you could just sit quietly and look at a candle.
Let us know in the comments how you achieved this week’s mission.
