In year 5, we have been living out our mission this week by supporting each other in and out of school, by helping each other with fixing things when they have broken and using our individual knowledge to help others if they are stuck or unsure of their work. After out liturgy on Monday we decided it is important to share our knowledge of things and not just keep ideas and thoughts to ourselves.

This week we have been helping people and helping somebody when they are hurt or sad. We shared TV time at home with our siblings and our devices. We have helped people when they have fallen over and made sure that they are okay. We have helped people that are lonely outside by letting them join in.

I made a good choice not to shout at my baby brother.
I made a good choice by taking myself away from a situation where normally I would have got upset.
I set a good example by when someone hurt themselves I tried to make them better.

Jamie – Sorting the golden points with Zadie.
Kiedis – When Oliver fell over, I helped him up.
Ella – I played with my sister when I could have played on my iPad.
Demi – I played with someone who was lonely.
Evie – I made my brother happy when he was sad by pulling some funny faces.
Isla – When Charis left her coat out, I carried it in for her.
Stanley – Collected the bags in for Mrs Stevenson.
