Our mission this week is to evangelise and spread the good news of Jesus. After the Easter story we remember how Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene and how she first began to spread the good news that Jesus had risen (John 20).
We are also thinking about Prince Phillip and praying for The Queen and the rest of the Royal family at this sad time. We remember how Prince Phillip served the country for over 73 years while he was married to The Queen and the legacy he will leave.

Class 3 really enjoyed this collective worship, and it made us reflect upon the sad passing of Prince Philip and his lasting legacy. We realise that he has lived our mission for the week throughout his career, and he has been a good example for the nation through his Duke of Edinburgh Award and charity work. We felt part of a family as we prayed for him. We will try and be a good role model for someone to be proud of and live our our mission by thanking people who are role models.
