God has called us to “look after our friends and family” “Be good” “Be kind and let people play with you” ” Look after each other” and “help them”.

I think that we have achieved the mission this week because in RE we looked at two people who were fulfilling their vocation and were helping to spread the Good News in different communities around the world. We then thought about how we could also spread the Good News and understand what our vocation is – Davina.
God has inspired all of us to take part this week in Beat the Street so that we can have more exercise and get healthier – Eira.

During Lectio Divina this week, we thought about what our vocations in life are:
William – To be a scientist or physics teacher
Susan – To be a maths teacher
Hamish – To graduate from university
Eira – To be a flight attendant and a mother
Louis – To go into the army and fight for my country
Davina – to be a lawyer

In year 5 we talked about how God can call us to be better people. We could try to be more generous and careful around other people, especially if they are hurt. Some felt that they could be Doctors and this could be their vocation.
Some felt that God was calling them to be runners as this would help with pollution. We talked about how when you have a job you might like to help others and your family to give them things you have earnt
