On the 22nd of April, the De Lisle Mission Team celebrated World Earth Day. We sat at a socially safe distance and watched the national assembly.

It was a live video which clearly pointed out the issues in our world and how we could fix them. We were also told about COP26, which is a meeting of all leaders in Europe taking place further this year in Glasgow. It is here where global issues will be discussed, and our voices will be heard. These leaders will take into account our views and see how they can help the planet.

As young people it is our future, so we need to contribute our ideas and efforts to help make our school, local community and world a healthier and happier place. We have already started to plan a number of recycling and tree planting schemes.
