Marley – I had to be understanding that my younger cousin wanted to watch something different on TV so I had to compromise and watch Paw Patrol.
Liam – I had to understand that my sister didn’t like the ice cream I had picked for her, so I had to go back to the shops to swap it for her to make her happy.
Sahara – had to understand that my younger brother didn’t want me to borrow his watch as it would be very upsetting for him
Alastair – when my mum was working I had to understand that she couldn’t play with us so me and my brother had to play quietly until she had finished.
Hannah – my sister had hay fever, so I had to be understanding that she wasn’t feeling her normal self and look after her
Miami – I had to be understanding that my sister wanted to play football in the garden, meaning there was no space for me to practice my relay running

I have been understand this week by helping my mum do her work by keeping the noise down.
I have been understanding this week because at home my mum has been having a lot of meetings and i need to keep quiet and out of the way.
Mrs Johnson has helped me understand how someone else was feeling and they did something wrong without them knowing.
I’ve been understanding by letting my friends talk and listening to what they have to say.
I have been understanding this week by helping my sister when she fell over and I picked her up and asked if she was okay.
I have been understanding because I know how to understand and control my body when I get angry.

Daniel – I asked my sister’s friends how they were feeling.
Lilah – When my little brother was crying I asked him if he was poorly.
Seth – I asked my brother if he wants to go to the park.
Orla – When my friends came to my house she showed us how to do a cart wheel. One friend couldn’t do it so they were sad. I helped them by chatting to them.
