This week we have been very excited about knowledge – how we increase it and share it. Tom Shannon came to school to take part in our class liturgies about knowledge and help us to improve the way that we used our knowledge to improve our class worship. In the different classes, we asked the Holy Spirit for the gift of knowledge and thought of the different ways we can use our knowledge to help others and to be missionary disciples in God’s world. Year 5 and 6 promised to share something they had learned with other people and Year 34 prayed for all those children in the world who cannot gain knowledge because they cannot go to school. They asked God to help everyone get a good education so that they can serve Him and other people.
In Mrs Brown’s Liturgy on Friday, the children shared one fact they had learned about religion this week and then shared a question they would like to ask Fr Tom and the sisters in our Franciscan Convent. We will be sharing some of the answers next week so that we can share their knowledge too.
