Matthew 5: 1 – 12 Jesus said: “God blesses you when people mock you because you are my followers. Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven.”

This week we are going to be thinking about Holiness.

Our mission this week:

This week we have two important feasts, All Saints and All Souls. A saint is one of those men and women who in their life, and often their death, set an example of how to live a life for God. They give hope to us all that we can be better people and one day and even become saint’s ourselves! We are all called to Holiness and all called to live a life pleasing to God. In November too we remember all those who have gone before us and on All Souls and throughout November we remember all those who have died and keep them in our prayers. This week we are asking you to think about anyone who has died and that you would like to remember.  You can either add their name or a photo, to our display and remember them in your prayers.

I am respectful. I treat others as I would like to be treated. I show courtesy to everyone as we are all made in God’s image and likeness.

This week, we have been remembering all those who we care about who are no longer with us. We have discussed why it is important to keep them in our hearts and thoughts – particularly in November and have brought in some photos of loved ones to share.
