Weekly Word: Youth

On Monday we came together for our CTK Weekly Word assemblies with Mrs Marshall and Mrs Glassford where we learned all about what the word ‘Youth’ means.

Our mission this week was create a love heart with One Kind word on it to mark Anti-Bullying Week. We were are also set the mission of coming together as a school community on Sunday for our CTK Family Mass.

    Manny: I learned that the word youth is to do with young people like us. I enjoyed the start of the assembly as we got to introduce ourselves as Kindness Warriors and we went to the infants too.

    Thomas: I will live out this week’s mission by going to the family Mass on Sunday. I am excited to do a reading and be a part of the Mass.

    Sophie: I learned that Jesus always had time for everyone, especially young people.
    Dhana: I liked the music that was played in assembly it made me feel calm and think about the things I can do as a young person to follow in Jesus’ footsteps.

    We enjoyed meeting the Kindness Warriors and will come in non-uniform on Thursday to raise money to help young people.
