God gave himself to the world, not as a powerful king but as a tiny baby. He brought a message of peace and humility to a world that needed it more than ever. Think this week about peace in our world. Does everybody live in peaceful communities?
This week let us try to remember that especially during Advent we are called to bring the peace of Christ to everyone we meet.

During our mission circle, we thought about times when we might want to find peace. We thought about the places in our homes and at school where we could sit in peace and these were places we could take time to pray. Someone also suggested we could use our school chapel where we could be still for a few minutes and pray for peace in the world. Some children took time with their families to pray together and someone even found a quiet spot in the playground!

Y6B thought carefully about the places they could go to pray. They identified how being in a park, surrounded by nature, could prove to be a peaceful place. Many children also talked about the peace they can find in their bedrooms. Some children spoke of going to Church to pray or spending time with their family in prayer.
