The Chaplaincy Team led our children, staff and parents in prayer in our Ash Wednesday Liturgies. Due to Ash Wednesday falling in the middle of our half term we marked the Feast day a week early. We were made to think about the ‘Why’ of wearing our ashes and the children asked for forgiveness when they sang ‘For all the angry words I’ve spoken’ with such sincerity and reverence. The impact our Chaplaincy Team has on the Catholic Life of the school was so evident as they distributed the ashes to the Sacred Heart community. Thank you to all our family members that joined us in prayer and reflection.
