Today the Reception pupils in Mrs Barber’s Class led their parents in Liturgical Prayer on Mary. After sharing some information about Mary and hearing the Gospel story of the Annunciation, the children thought about how Mary would have felt. They then had the opportunity to place a petal at the foot of the Mary statue as well as singing and signing the Hail Mary. For the Mission, the children had made rosary bracelets for the parents to take home so that they could say the Hail Mary prayer with their child.
It was a beautiful prayer service and the parents commented on how moved they felt from it.
