For our theme communication the children went to speak to a child from another year group that they haven’t spoken with before and asked them questions about themselves.

Our mission this week is to communicate with someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, check how they are doing. Let me know how you completed the mission.

This week Year1 have thought about communication by trying to speak nicely to one another and say kind things. We have also tried to make friends with people we don’t normally speak to.

Year 5 responses to this week’s mission.
When we met up with children whom we don’t see very often at the sports festival this week, I made sure I chatted and encouraged them in their races. (Josh)
I don’t often tell my brother that I love him, so this week I made sure I expressed my feelings to him.
    Demi
I never have the time to tell my teacher how thankful I am for her support, so this week I sent my teacher a thank you note to let her know how much I appreciate her. (Declan)
I reached out to my Grandparents, who live in another country. I wanted to let them know that I love them. (Raj)
