Communication is a huge part of our everyday lives. We can communicate faster and with more people than ever before and this week we think about those things that we need to share and communicate with others. We are called during Eastertide to proclaim the Good News and this week we can use all the forms of communication that we have to share God’s Message and to celebrate God’s love for us in our lives.
Our Mission this week – Think about how you can share some Good News with others and play your part in communicating the Gospel message to others.

This week in Year 5, we reflected on how we communicate with one another each day. Example shared included: talking, texting, phoning, emailing, drawing, using sign-language and writing. We also discussed how we could use these methods of communication to share God’s Message, and to celebrate God’s love for us in our lives.
Well done, Year 5 for working hard on your mission this week and communicating the Good News to others in lots of wonderful ways!
As part of our Pupil Led Liturgy, we spent some time in Y6B thinking about how we have shared the Good News with others. We know that all the things we do to help others is showing them the love of God. “Where there is love, there is God.” The children in our class could identify helping at home (for example: cooking and cleaning); helping others (especially younger children) to make the right choices; helping our partners in class with their work; and helping younger members of the school community (KS1) when they are hurt or to find a trusted adult.
