This week Reception class thought about remembering and we learned the words “remembrance.” We thought about all those that have gone to heaven to be with Jesus and while some of us don’t yet know anyone who has gone to heaven, we thought about Jesus and how he send the Holy Spirit to be with us so we would always remember him. We are looking for crucifixes as our mission and when we see them, going to remember that Jesus loves us!
This week, Year 1 have taken time to think about people who have died and discuss the importance of remembering people who are no longer with us. The children shared stories of people who have passed, and said prayers at our prayer area in the classroom.
