Year 3 Chaplaincy Team led the Liturgy this week. The theme was peace, we decided as a team that for our mission everyone would have a strip of paper to make a big peace chain. They have to write on it a small act of kindness then bring it back to school during the week. Let me know how you got on with this. What act of kindness did you do?

This week Reception Class have thought about peace and how they can show peace in advent by being patient and kind to each other and trying not to argue over toys.
This week our theme was peace, we were set the mission to help make our school peace chain.
How have we shown peace this week?
Yaqoob: we have shown peace by helping to resolve conflicts in the class.
Lilah: we can show peace by praying for people that need help.
Celia: I have shown peace this week in PE by being supportive of everyone.
Seth: Yaqoob has shown peace not just by helping his friends but helping everyone that he feels needs it.
This week, we have created an olive peace branch in our child led liturgy, by asking all children to dip their fingers in green paint then make their mark on our branch creating a leaf for each child. In addition to this, the children took home pieces of paper to help create the peace band, which we have started to put together in class.
