Joy is a feeling of great happiness and pleasure. It is a positive emotion that help us to overcome sadness and despair. In the season of Advent, we rejoice in the coming of Jesus Christ. We know that he is the source of all joy, and we celebrate his birth with great joy.

Our Mission

Think of something you can do for someone else to bring them joy.  This could be something you do, or stop doing. During this 3rd Week of Advent find time to make it happen this week.

In Year 6, the children enjoyed sharing what brings them joy as well as what they could do to bring joy to others. They identified the importance of spending time with loved ones, doing something without having to be asked to do it, and giving someone a Christmas card or a treat. The children also acknowlegded the difference they can make to someone’s life by inviting them to join their game or giving them a smile.
