Discipleship is about following Jesus and living your life according to his teachings. It is a lifelong journey of learning and growing in faith. As disciples, we are called to grow in our relationship with God, to live out our faith in the world, and to serve others.

Our Mission

Think of someone in need in your community who you can help and support this week.

This week in Circle Time, Year 6 thought about how they could help people in the classroom, in school and in the local community and about the impact their actions will have on others. They ended the session with a game where they had to work collectively to ‘keep someone in’ – even if that meant making a sacrficice themselves. Freddie and Nevia also encouraged us on Thursday as part of their Liturgy to reflect on Jesus calling His disiples and how like James and John in the Gospel reading, we too can respond to God’s call. The children have also been able to reflect on how things they have done in the past – for example, litter picking, donating shoes and clothes to a clothes bank, inviting someone to dinner who would otherwise be alone and helping someone to find a lost pet – are all examples of ways they can be more Christ-like.
