During our Epiphany Liturgy, we heard about the Three Wise Men delivering frankincense, gold and myrrh to the newly-born baby Jesus.

We talked about what gifts we have that we could bring to Jesus. We talked about:

  • kindness
  • helpfulness
  • joy
  • love
  • forgiveness

Your mission this week is to bring one of your gifts to Jesus by sharing it with the school community. Let us know how you achieve this week’s mission.

EYFS have talked about which gift they could bring to Jesus by sharing it with the school community. They decided that they would listen more to their classmates and forgive them when they say unkind things or don’t let them play in their games.

In Year 6 we have showed gifts of kindness, helpfulness, generosity. Serenna helped Alfie and Adam in the library when it wasn’t her day. Aoife took the laptops to Mrs Kotarba for her lesson and offered to make her a cup of tea or do anything else she needed. We have smiled at others to make them smile and cleaned our bedrooms to help our parents.

In Year one we talked about the gift of friendship. We will try to be kind and include everyone in our games.

Year 3 discussed how they had brought the gifts of kindness and forgiveness to Jesus. They did this through helping and being kind to others in the class when they felt nervous during swimming. Also they forgave others when they made mistakes. Also in our guided reading sessions we read about Epiphany and the special journey The Wise Men took to visit Jesus.
