Recently the students of De Lisle got together to collect food and warm clothes donations for a local charity called Equality Action.
This local charity responds to the needs of those struggling with hardship, whether they be asylum seekers or local families.
The most recent drive was to collect for their Winter Warmer recipe packs. These basic packs, made up of tinned chickpeas, tomatoes and spinach were going to form the basis of a simple chick pea curry that people could easily make at home.

Students and staff also donated hats and gloves so that people could keep warm over winter.
I’m sure that we will continue to support Equality Action and their brilliant work as time goes on.
